Maybe a suggestion
Thanks to your devoted staff at luggage section in CDG airport, I was finally able to retrieve my phone. She was handling my case really well, making all relevant questions and leading me to provide necessary information. I cannot thank her enough.
However I would say that your lost and found team certainly took pictures of my phones (as the photos were taken before battery went out), hence could have been matched online. Maybe there might be some gap between local staff who physically handle lost properties and the matching site, I wonder? Just for your consideration.
I am so grateful for my phone to return, yet it would have been much better if you could have matched online and shipped it in a week or two, ideally. Then I could have avoided buying a new phone (extra expenses and all hassle of data transfer!)
